The No. 10 ranked USC Trojans will enter this game with an overall record of five wins and just one loss. They currently hold three wins and one loss in the Pac-12 conference. The Trojans hold victories over the Hawaii Warriors, the Syracuse Orange, the California Golden Bears, the Utah Utes and the Washington Huskies. Their one and only loss of the 2012 college football season thus far came at the hands of the Stanford Cardinal on Sept. 15.
The Colorado Buffaloes have not had nearly as good of a season thus far. They currently only have one win and five losses. They have one win and two losses in the Pac-12 conference. Colorado has recorded losses to the Colorado State Rams, the Sacramento State Hornets, the Fresno State Bulldogs, the UCLA Bruins and the Arizona State Sun Devils. Their one and only win of the 2012 college football season thus far came over the Washington State Cougars on Sept. 22.
Considering the overall records of both teams, it should not come as much of a surprise to anyone reading this to see that the USC Trojans are huge 40.5 point favorites to defeat the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night.
Winning by 40 points may seem like an awful lot, but considering how horrible Colorado has looked through their first six games of the season, it certainly is not out of the question.
