The Green Bay Packers head into this matchup with an overall record of three wins and three losses to start the 2012 regular NFL season. The team has gathered victories over the Chicago Bears in week two, the New Orleans Saints in week four and the Houston Texans in week six. Their losses came at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers in week one, the Seattle Seahawks in week three and the Indianapolis Colts in week five. The Packers have yet to win or lose two games in a row this season.

The St. Louis Rams also enter this game with an overall record of three wins and three losses. However, they are undefeated when playing at the Edward Jones Dome thus far this season. The team's victories came over the Washington Redskins in week two, the Seattle Seahawks in week four and the Arizona Cardinals in week five. The Rams suffered defeats at the hands of the Detroit Lions in week one, the Chicago Bears in week three and the Miami Dolphins in week six.

The Green Bay Packers are considered to be five point favorites to defeat the St. Louis Rams according to the odds makers. We agree that the Packers will likely end up winning this game, but don't be so sure to count out the Rams. They are a very young and talented team.
