The Miami Heat led by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are all hoping to defend their NBA championship and repeat as title holders this season. Defending a championship is certainly never easy, but the Heat has all the talent to do so. In addition, Ray Allen is now in Miami which gives the basketball team another threat and one of the best three point shooters in NBA history. If the Miami Heat can stay healthy, they should definitely not have too much of a problem making it back to the championship series.
The New York Knicks are always expected to be a great team, but they rarely live up to expectations these days. After getting rid of Jeremy Lin during the offseason, all of the pressure will be put onto the shoulders of Carmelo Anthony. In the past, Anthony has not been able to establish himself as a leader amongst men. If Melo does not step up as the team's leader, the Knicks will likely end up disappointing their fans yet again.
If we were offering betting advice, we would definitely advise you to put your money on the Miami Heat on this game on Friday night. They are more talented, have better chemistry and play much smarter basketball.
Regardless of who wins, hopefully it is a fun game to watch.
