The No. 14 overall Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Iowa Hawkeyes will both try to improve their overall records when they face each other on Friday afternoon at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa. Kick off of the game is scheduled to take place at 12 p.m. ET and can be seen by most people on the ABC depending on your local television coverage. The No. 14 overall Nebraska Cornhuskers head into this football game with an overall record of nine wins and just two losses. They are 6-1 in the Big Ten conference. Their nine wins have come over the Southern Miss Eagles, the Arkansas State Red Wolves, the Idaho State Bengals, the Wisconsin Badgers, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Michigan Wolverines, the Michigan State Spartans, the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Their only two losses of the season thus far was suffered at the hands of the UCLA Bruins and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Iowa Hawkeyes currently have an overall record of four wins and seven losses. They are a miserable 2-5 in the Big Ten conference. Their four wins were won over the Northern Illinois Huskies, the Northern Iowa Panthers, the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Michigan State Spartans. Their losses were suffered at the hands of the Iowa State Cyclones, the Central Michigan Chippewas, the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Northwestern Wildcats, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Purdue Boilermakers and the Michigan Wolverines. Iowa is currently on a five game losing streak.

This should certainly not come as a big surprise to anyone reading this, but the Nebraska Cornhuskers are set as huge 15 point favorites over the Iowa Hawkeyes according to the odds makers. We also predict that Nebraska will win this game easily on Friday afternoon.
