RG3's advice to Romo after the Washington Redskins beat the Dallas Cowboys 28-18 in Week 17, eliminating the Cowboys from playoff contention, shows that the rookie out of Baylor is playing the game with the poise of a veteran. After the game, in which Tony Romo threw three interceptions, RG3 gave some advice to Romo.

"Hey, Tony. I just wanted to say to you don't listen to what anybody else is saying about you," he said, according to NFL.com. "You're a great quarterback, man. This game doesn't mean anything."

Tony Romo, a three-time pro bowler, has faced his share of criticism this season, matching a career high in interceptions and his lowest full-season quarterback ranking. However, despite missing out on the playoffs, Romo had a good year. He threw for nearly 5,000 yards, a career high, and the third-most touchdowns of his nine-year career.

Robert Griffin III, however, had impressed at every turn and has set himself up as a strong contender, if not a favorite, for Rookie of the Year. And RG3's advice to Romo shows that the rookie should have a long career in the game.

RG3's advice to Romo is a little misleading, however. The week 17 game did mean something - a playoff berth. Now, the Redskins await the arrival of the Seattle Seahawks for the first round of the playoffs. The game will be at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 6.
