Carmelo Anthony and LaLa Anthony have been having some rough patches, and are on the verge of a divorce, according to a number of reports.

Apparently, in a recent game between the New York Knicks, Anthony's team, and the Boston Celtics, Kevin Garnett took some shots at Carmelo's wife, LaLa. According to the NY Daily News, Garnett told Melo his wife "tastes like Honet Nut Cheerios," while the two were arguing in the middle of the game, a dispute that almost came to blows and was broken up by referees.

But, Garnett's dig at Carmelo's wife isn't the only news surrounding a Carmelo-LaLa divorce. After the game, Melo decided to confront Garnett. Even though the situation was diffused on the court by the referees, Melo thought Garnett's jab was "offensive and tasteless." After the game, Anthony apparently seemed out Garnett to confront him about his comment. According to the NY Daily News, "An infuriated Anthony yelled at Garnett outside the Celtics' locker room immediately after the game. He then tried to confront Garnett later as the Celtics were boarding their team bus to leave the Garden. Garden security, five NYPD cops and Knicks coach Mike Woodson raced to defuse a potentially volatile scene at the midtown arena."

The Daily News article concluded by adding that the pair have been living apart for the last two months. In addition, Carmelo Anthony and LaLa celebrated New Years apart, with LaLa spending time in Miami's South Beach (the backyard of Carmelo's rivals, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh).
