The Lakers will try to continue their winning streak -- which is super rare for this year -- by beating the New Orleans Hornets. The match will be on TV, but you can watch a free live stream by clicking here, but please do so at your own risk.

The storyline heading into tonight's game will be whether or not the Lakers can continue its winning ways. Kobe Bryant, who has long been one of the biggest gunners, has played two stunningly all-around games (both victories). Bryant notched 14 assists and 9 rebounds in each of the matches.

The Lakers' offense currently ranks fifth in the NBA in points per possession, so really, if they play even average defense, they should be a winning team. The problem so far, of course, has been the Lakers' problematic defense.

Much of that has to do with Dwight Howard's unhealthy back. The superstar center has been, well, un-superstar-ish as of late. Although, he's still averaging 17 points and 12 rebounds, the latter of which leads the league.

He'll need to step up his play, especially against the Hornets' Anthony Davis, who's already one of the best defensive big men in the league.

The Hornets have been playing better the past few weeks, but they're still destined for the NBA lottery, which isn't bad, since they're in rebuilding mode. Once they become the Pelicans, they could be a force to be reckon with.
