Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets face the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night. The game will be broadcast locally at 9 p.m., ET, and you can also watch a live TV stream online for free here. But please, click on that link at your own risk.

Houston is coming off a historic victory over the Utah Jazz on Monday. The Rockets best Utah 125-80, giving the Jazz their worst home loss in team history, per NBA.com.

Six of Houston's starters in that contest scored in double figures, with guard James Harden leading the way with 25 points. Fellow guard Jeremy Lin and forwards Patrick Patterson and Chandler Parsons each added 12.

Indeed, Lin has played solidly as of late, despite getting off to somewhat of a slow start with the Rockets. The guard has six double-doubles this season and has racked up seven or more assists in six out of Houston's last eight games.

Some had unreasonable expectations for Jeremy Lin following his breakout 2012 season. But, as fellow Asian NBA player Yao Ming recently told the Washington Post that it is admirable the point guard has continued to contribute despite the pressure.

"I was there, first 10 games, didn't play well and they continued to encourage me and they tried to help me to fit into the NBA, instead of trying to judge me a good or bad player. I remember that," Yao said of Houston. "Jeremy, of course, people expect that he repeat what he did in New York last year. Under that circumstance, he still consistently helps the team and I'm very impressed with what he did."

Lin, meanwhile, got to meet another Asian-American NBA pioneer before the Jazz contest. According to the Houston Chronicle, the point guard on Monday greeted Wat Misaka, who was drafted by the New York Knicks back in 1947.

Denver, meanwhile, sits at 10 games over .500 after a victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday. Guard Andre Iguodala sealed the win for the Nuggets with a forced turnover and made free throw in the final second.

The Nuggets have won five straight games over the Rockets, including two matchups earlier this season. In the first contest, Denver won, 93-87, despite 19 points off the bench from Houston forward Carlos Delfino. Jeremy Lin had just six points but nabbed a career-high six steals in that contest.

Denver then beat Houston again last week, 105-95. Harden had 23 points in that contest, but Houston could not overcome 23 turnovers that led to 28 Nuggets points.
