At the time this article was written, the Miami Heat had an overall record of 29 wins and just 13 losses. They are 11-10 when playing on the road thus far this season. Their wins have been recorded over the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Hornets, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Bobcats, the Orlando Magic, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, the Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons. Their losses were suffered at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and the Chicago Bulls, the Indiana Pacers, Portland Trail Blazers, the Utah Jazz and the Boston Celtics.
The Toronto Raptors will take their home court with an overall record of 16 wins and 30 losses. They are split when playing at home with 11 wins and 11 losses. We have a hard time believing that the Raptors have much of a shot to pull off the upset in this game. In fact, we actually believe this will be a blowout victory for the Miami Heat.
Whichever team you are rooting for, we are all hoping to see some competitive basketball. We are not sure that the Raptors have what it takes to make this a competitive game, but we will keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
Enjoy the game!
