Robin van Persie Injury: Manchester United Player Will Still Play Despite Bizarre Injury
Despite suffering from a bizarre hip injury during his last match, Robin van Persie will suit up against Real Madrid in next week's huge Champions League clash.
Robin van Persie fell into a TV camera pit at Loftus Road after losing his balance while setting up Rafael's score for United in the 23rd minute. He grimaced and rolled around the field for several minutes as fans watched in shock.
But after receiving lengthy treatment he eventually returned to the field, but his discomfort was obvious. In fact, Sir Alex Ferguson soon replaced his prolific striker with Danny Welbeck for the rest of the match.

Robin van Persie's injury details are still unknown, and he was seen limping around yesterday, according to reports by the Guardian, but he will play against Real Madrid.
The Daily Mail is reporting that Ferguson may choose to keep Robin van Persie as a reserve for Saturday's match because they have a second match against Real just three days later on March 5.
United is well placed after Welbeck grabbed a precious away goal in the first-leg 1-1 draw in Madrid.
Robin van Persie, 29, of Dutch youth international, represented the Netherlands under-17 at the age of 16, and he has been playing professionally since. A month later he netted his first senior international goal in a win over Finland.
