Jeremy Lin Movie Screening in Hong Kong And Asia

By Staff Reporter, Posted: 03/20/13 01:42PM EDT

Linsanity, the documentary documenting the phenomenon that took place in New York during spring of 2012 has reached Hong Kong. The documentary will be a part of the Hong Kong International Film Festival, the most prestigious event in the city.

The documentary highlights Lin's struggles each step of the way, from his early beginnings to where he is today with the Houston Rockets. With his faith in God, support from family, friends and coaches, a LOT of hard work and dedication, many up's and down's, and lucky breaks, Lin overcomes a lot of self-doubt and self and outside pressure and is able to overcome all these obstacles to pursue his dreams of playing in the NBA.

Directed by Evan Leong, the documentary made its premier during the Sundance Film Festival last January, in which Lin himself attended. Leong is currently in Hong Kong shopping the movie, and plans on taking it around Asia following the HKIFF.
