Kobe Bryant's Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Milwaukee Bucks: Watch Live Stream of NBA Free; Preview
The Los Angeles Lakers play the Milwaukee Bucks tonight in a battle of two No. 8 seeds. The game will be broadcast on TV, but you can watch a free live stream of it by clicking here -- but please, click on that link at your own risk.
The Lakers will be playing this game without Metta World Peace, aka Ron Artest, who might have played his last ever Lakers game after injuring his knee. The 34-year-old World Peace, a potential candidate to be amnestied next season, will undergo knee surgery to repair his torn meniscus, which will knock him out of action at least six weeks. The Lakers' season might be over by then.
For now, the Lakers will miss him dearly, as World Peace has drawn the toughest defensive assignment throughout his Laker tenure.
Fortunately for the Lakers, the Bucks don't have a big guard who would give the Lakers trouble -- since both the Bucks' best offensive weapons are small guards in Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.
Kobe Bryant might have to defend one of these two speedster tonight, and it could spell disaster, for although Bryant has a reputation for being a strong defender, any close observer know he's fallen off the past few years.
The Lakers will count on Howard to protect the basket once the Bucks duo get in the paint. Howard is still recovering from offseason back surgery, but he is making strides into becoming the defensive monster of 2011.
