Before you watch Jeremy Lin's Rockets versus the Magic, here is a preview of Monday's contest.
The Rockets are coming off an impressive victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. Despite guard James Harden missing the contest with a sprained ankle, the squad used a balanced attack to beat one of the top teams in the NBA. Point guard Jeremy Lin, along with forward Chandler Parsons and guard Francisco Garcia, had a team-high 15 points, while center Omer Asik had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Jeremy Lin had a solid game defensively as well. Tasked with guarding All-Star point guard Chris Paul, Jeremy Lin held him to 19 points on 7-of-15 shooting.
"He's a great player, probably the best point guard in the NBA," Jeremy Lin told the Houston Chronicle. "It's always tough playing against him.
"That's what they told us we had to focus on, just get over screens, fight through and put as much pressure as we can."
Harden is currently questionable for Monday night's contest, per CBS Sports. Ironically, the guard was also fighting through an injury when these two squads last faced off in March. Per NBA.com, the guard played through his knee ailment that day and led the Rockets with 24 points.
The Magic have struggled for much of the season, losing nine of their last 10 contests. Their only victory over that span was a five-point win over the 26-46 Washington Wizards last Friday.
