The X Games 2013 Big Air Final skateboard main event was scheduled for Thursday, April 18, at 7 p.m. through 10 p.m. EST. However, the officials have decided to hold the competition earlier due to possible dusk condensation on the MegaRamp hardwood surface.

The Big Air Skateboard Final will now begin live at 5:30 p.m. EST. However, if you can't watch it on TV, you can also find the online live stream via WatchESPN. The Skateboard Final competition will also replay on ESPN starting at 9:30 p.m. ET.

More than 29 Brazilian athletes will represent their country at the first X Games 2013 stop in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil. Four-time Skateboard Big Air gold medal winner Bob Burnquist is far and away the most famous and respected of all. Testing the MegaRamp on Tuesday evening, Bob Burnquist voiced concerns over condensation, but confirmed the structure was safe to ride.

"You can see the moisture when the light is on it. I put my board down and it just slipped out. Our wheels are so hard that with a little bit of condensation, it's over," said Burnquist.

Three-time BMX Big Air gold medal winner Kevin Robinson shared the sentiment: "Any kind of moisture, it's like riding your bike on ice. It's just out of the question; you can't do it."

Responding to the safety concerns, the X Games moved the Big Air event ahead of schedule to avoid moisture on the hardwood surface.

Don't miss the X Games 2013 Big Air Final skateboard main event on Thursday, April 18, on ESPN3 starting at 5:30 p.m. EST. If you can't watch it on TV, you can also find the online live stream via WatchESPN.
