Amir Khan is doing his best to salvage his boxing career by facing opponents who pose little threat to him in the boxing ring. After suffering back-to-back losses against Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson, Khan decided it was time to face some cupcakes. In December he faces Carlos Molina and now he will be taking on Julio Diaz.

Amir Khan will come into the boxing ring on Saturday with an overall professional boxing record of 27 wins and three losses. He has 19 wins coming by way of knockout. Khan has always been an exciting fighter on offense, but he has had a horrible defense and one of the weakest chins in boxing history.

Julio Diaz has been a washed-up fighter for several years. That is why he is not believed to pose much of a threat on Saturday. Currently Diaz has an overall record of 40 wins, seven losses and one draw. He has 29 victories coming by way of knockout. However, Diaz has not had a significant win in nearly five years.

We expect Amir Khan to win this boxing match on Saturday fairly easy. It will be interesting to see if he decided to continue fighting cupcakes after a win over Diaz or if he will step up his level of competition.
