Novak Djokovic Vs. Grigor Dimitrov: Watch Live Streaming Of ATP Madrid Open [PREVIEW]

By Staff Reporter, Posted: 05/07/13 06:10AM EDT

Novak Djokovic takes on youngster Grigor Dimitrov in the opening game of the ATP Madrid Open Tuesday. The game starts at 2 p.m. EDT and can be watched on the Tennis Channel or streamed online (at user's risk).

Djokovic enters the Madrid masters having defeated "King of Clay" Rafael Nadal at the Monte Carlo ATP Masters tournament last month. The Serb will hope for a repeat in Nadal's home country to give him the confidence of securing his first French Open title this year.

In his way stands promising 21-year-old Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, nicknamed "Baby Federer" because of his playing style. Dimitrov reached the quarterfinals in Monte Carlo, losing 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 to Rafael Nadal in a thrilling match. Despite the loss, the Bulgarian impressed and is likely to make life difficult for Djokovic Tuesday.

The Serb has recently suffered from ankle problems, which hopes will not hamper his chances in this year's tournament.

"It's better every day," Djokovic  said. "I've been doing a lot of work from the end of Monte‑Carlo tournament until now in order to get ready for Madrid.  It's a very big tournament that I always like to play in."

The World No.1 player also praised the organizers ahead of his clash with Dimitrov.

"The court is great, the opinions of the other players I can hear are all positive comments, so it's great to see that," he added. "It's always positive to see a tournament doing everything to make a player feel comfortable playing on the court, and of course feeling good off the court as well."

The big four of Djokovic, Murray, Nadal and defending Champion Federer take center stage once again, with tennis fans eager to judge each player's form ahead of the French open. After his win at Monte Carlo, Djokovic joins Nadal as favorite for the title but both Federer and Murray could produce surprise results. Playing on the clay of Madrid will also allow the players to adapt to the surface ahead of Rolland Garros. It is likely to be an exciting tournament.
