The Miami Heat and the Indiana Pacers are set to face off in Game 1 of their playoff series on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Tipoff for the game is scheduled to take place at 8:30 p.m. EDT, and can be seen on TNT depending on your local television coverage. The Miami Heat were dominant throughout the regular season and compiled an overall record of 66 wins and just 16 losses. They also had an excellent record when playing on their home court with a record of 37-4.

Their wins have been recorded over the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, Houston Rockets, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, New Orleans Hornets, Washington Wizards, Minnesota Timberwolves, Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Bobcats, the Orlando Magic, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, the Toronto Raptors, the Detroit Pistons, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Portland Trail Blazers, the Chicago Bulls, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the New York Knicks, the Memphis Grizzlies and the Indiana Pacers.

They defeated the Chicago Bulls in order to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Indiana Pacers finished their regular season with an overall record of 49 wins and 32 losses. They had just an average record when playing on the road with just 19 wins and 21 losses. The Pacers defeated the New York Knicks in order to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Miami Heat will be the clear cut favorites to advance to the NBA finals. Not many people believe that the Indiana Pacers pose any sort of significant threat to the Miami Heat. However, as we have learned many times in the past, anything can happen when two teams face off on the basketball court.
