The Boston Bruins have dominated their series over the Pittsburgh Penguins thus far and have a commanding 2-0 lead. Both of their wins up to this point have taken place in Pittsburgh, which leads many people to believe they will perform even better at their home arena. However, Pittsburgh should come into this game with chips on their shoulders and something to prove. With that in mind, we believe this should be a very competitive hockey game on Wednesday night.
"Right now, we're not liking the picture, down 0-2. They're in control," Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said. "I don't think we're frustrated by the fact that we haven't scored as much as [the fact that] they're getting up leads, especially in Game 2."
The Penguins are desperate for a win and if they do not win tonight in Game 3, they run the risk of getting swept and embarrassed in this series. That is the absolute last thing that Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby wants to see happen.
"I didn't do anything, didn't change anything. It felt like every time we had a puck that was bouncing, we ended up giving it away," Crosby said. "We gave them the game. We didn't really do anything to give ourselves a chance to win."
It certainly looks like the Boston Bruins are on their way to getting the victory in this series, but hopefully the Penguins put up a bit of a fight. It would certainly be nice if the Bruins didn't have it quite as easy as it looked like they would in the first two games.
