Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios: A Blood Bath In November
Manny Pacquiao fans cannot wait for November to roll around so they can see the return of the future hall of fame boxer when he takes on Mexican star Brandon Rios. Even though Rios may not be the opponent a lot of people wanted to see Pacquiao face, it could end up being the most exciting fight of the year. Both fighters like to be aggressive and both have no issues with throwing punches in bunches.
That is why Rios believes the fight will be a blood bath.
"All out war, it's gonna be an all out war," Rios, who is known for his all-or-nothing fighting style, said in an interview with On The Ropes Boxing Radio.
"I think it will be a bloody mess, he's gonna go crazy, I'm gonna go crazy, it's just gonna be a great fight you know. I say a war, a bloody war, that's what it's going to be."
Brandon Rios may not be known outside of the diehard boxing fan, but he is no slouch opponent. His professional record consists of 31 wins and just one loss. Rios always finds himself in entertaining matches and we expect that to be the case in November when he meets Pacquiao.
Of course, all eyes will be on Pacquiao though. The last time we saw him in the boxing ring he was getting put to sleep in his fifth fight again Juan Manuel Marquez. Many people are curious to see how he bounces back after suffering such a brutal knockout. Will he ever be the same again? Only time will tell.
Brandon Rios may not have brutal one punch knockout power, but he can definitely knock his opponents out if they are not careful. He rarely throws just one punch and he does have enough speed and quickness to stun his opponents when necessary. More importantly, Brandon Rios has a heart bigger than the size of Texas. No matter what happens in their bout, there is no way Rios will give up and stop coming forward.
